About me

Time spent writing a review and photographing the music festival Sound on Sound. I was also able to interview the founders of the festival!

After Photographing and volunteering at QUinnipiac’s fall fest, meeting peach tree rascals

I’ve spent the last few years building a foundation through hands-on campus media work. I’ve designed custom illustrations and dipped my toes into sports photography for The Quinnipiac Chronicle. I found my love for concert photography through Quinnipiac’s on-campus radio station WQAQ. This love drove me to become WQAQ’s Pop & Indie Genre Manager, where I would curate music for the station and also create my own radio show: Kaya’s Corner

At the heart of everything I do is the desire to create. I believe great creative work is equal parts intuition and intention, and I’m always excited to take on projects that allow me to grow in both.

Whether I’m painting, designing, or photographing, I’m driven by curiosity, detail, and a love for culture. Outside of my professional work, I find joy in concert photography, interior design (both IRL and on The Sims 4!), and anything music-related. I believe great creative work is equal parts intuition and intention—and I’m always excited to take on projects that allow me to grow in both.
